Bible study
Be conscientious about how you live and what you teach. Persevere in this, because by doing so you will save both yourself and those who listen to you. (1 Timothy 4:16)

Daily study of the Bible is an inherent part of the life of a disciple of Jesus Christ. We acknowledge the Bible as the only basis for the Christian teaching and invite everyone to study this Book inspired by the Holy Spirit and reveal what is the call of God for every person.

Then Jesus said to those Judeans who had believed him, “If you continue to follow my teaching, you are really my disciples and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” (John 8:31-32)

* To feel certain about something does not allow to proclaim it as true. While searching for the truth one may not rest on one's own feelings and opinion alone.

* To become a true disciple of Christ one must accept His teaching and live by it.

Every scripture is inspired by God and useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the person dedicated to God may be capable and equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)

* The Bible is inspired by God. People who wrote the Books of the Bible were led by the Holy Spirit.

* We are to practice the teaching of the Bible in our daily lives.

Above all, you do well if you recognize this: No prophecy of scripture ever comes about by the prophet’s own imagination, for no prophecy was ever borne of human impulse; rather, men carried along by the Holy Spirit spoke from God. (2 Peter 1:20-21)

* Openness and gentleness does not always equal truth. Even religious people may be mistaken.

* To interpret the Bible standing on one's own opinion and will is unacceptable.

* While interpreting the Bible one should not follow tradition of men and general sentiment of society.

* Praise of God that is based on traditions and rules that are contrary to the Word of God is in vain.

What will be your decision - what will you follow in your life?

the Bible?
or your feelings, opinion, will, traditions, needs, etc.?
